What To Do in an Emergency...
In an emergency situation, if you feel you or others are in danger, or if a person refuses help, it may be necessary to contact local police for assistance or take the person to the nearest emergency room for evaluation. Do not hesitate to call 911 if you believe that someone is a danger to himself/herself or others.

If you are in a crisis but not in immediate danger, call 1-800-HELP-555 or in New Jersey dial 211. This is First Call for Help, a crisis hotline, and they will help you.
